Hershey Gardens proudly hosts the fourth annual bonsai exhibition entitled “Bonsai: Living Art of the Central Pennsylvania Bonsai Clubs.” The exhibit features dozens of bonsai trees of various shapes and sizes. Bonsai, developed by the Japanese more than a thousand years ago, is derived from the Chinese practice of growing miniature plants. In bonsai cultivation, woody plants are kept small and in true proportion to their natural models.
The Gardens’ outdoor Butterfly House, which will not be featuring butterflies, will house the exhibition. Admission to the exhibition is included in the general admission price. Hershey Gardens is only Four Miles from 1825 Inn Bed and Breakfast.
