Indian Echo Caverns in Hummelstown, PA

We’re right on the cusp of gorgeous warmer weather, but we don’t have to wait to experience some outdoor activities. As a matter of fact, this attraction is open year round with the exception of major holidays, and offers so much to see and do..

Among many names previously given to these caves, Wilson Cave is one of the most memorable. Known for William Wilson who for nineteen years lived as a hermit (known as the Pennsylvania Hermit) there.

As with many of the caves in the Mid-Atlantic states, water flowing through limestone worked its artistry and formed these beautiful caverns. Nature’s thermostat sees to it that the caverns remain at a constant 52 degrees.

You can visit their website for more fun activities and find out more about the guided tours.
