Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art. Ohio native Bob Hines became America’s only officially designated “National Wildlife Artist” – the staff artist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, whose illustrations of birds, game mammals and sport fish graced government publications for decades, and who oversaw the federal Duck Stamp program for more than 30 years.
