THE 1825 INN

HERSHEY, PA

FALL 2014

Each season brings its own special magic..and Fall at the 1825 Inn is no exception.

Days are getting a little shorter, sweaters and jackets are making an appearance, and there is that certain nip in the air..not to mention the occasional whiff of wood smoke.  To many, it’s a time to mourn the loss of suntan lotion and air conditioning for another spell.  Not to us at the Inn as we look forward to what this time of year brings.

The garden was good to us this year.  Tomatoes and green beans couldn’t thank us enough for giving them honored spots in our garden plot..each time we say this will be the last harvest, more seem to appear!  Sunny zinnias continued to grace our tables in the breakfast room until a week or so ago.  We’re now noticing beauty of a different sort in the rose hips from our prolific canes, sedum is coming into its own  and, of course, the leaves are changing quickly  (and dropping just as fast!).

We at the Inn hope not only that you take time to smell the roses, but take the time to enjoy all that these Fall months have to offer..
